Instructor Profile:Charlene Talbot-Paul is a sought after higher education consultant and speaker. Her clients include US and international postsecondary education providers and their constituents.
Talbot-Paul has over 15 years of higher education experience focused primarily on nontraditional students. Her scope of expertise includes: enrollment and retention; student services; international students; campus operations; higher education innovation; prior learning assessment; and strategic partnerships and alliances. She has served on advisory boards for business programs and is a member of the board directors at Higher Education Partnership of Southeast Florida.
Talbot-Paul is a former Director of Business Development at the American Council on Education (ACE), the nation's largest and most visible association representing all sectors of higher education, where she led the international expansion of the CREDIT program to increase post-secondary educational attainment in the U.S., U.K., the Caribbean, Lebanon, South Africa, and Thailand. She has spoken both nationally and internationally about international students, retention, and higher education innovations such as MOOCs (Massively Online Open Courses), competency-based education and alternative credentialing.
