Dr. AMT Tolkamp, DVM, is the director of Vet-Online Consultancy and consultant in regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance veterinary medicines within the EU since 2012. She graduated in veterinary medicines at the University of Utrecht in 2001 and conducted her research at the University of Utrecht on pharma kinetics of currently authorized veterinary medicines for horses and dogs. She worked for more than 5 years as a small animal veterinarian but veterinary pharmacy still gained interest and in 2006 she became regulatory affairs manager and QPPV at Alfasan International BV. Auditing and advising veterinary pharmaceutical companies on pharmacovigilance and guiding small medium enterprises through the authorization procedures of veterinary medicines within the EU have become her priorities.
