Coy Murchison is the founder of reMergents Solutions, a consulting company that assists home health companies maintain compliance, and is the owner of InTouch Health Services, a company that provides nursing and therapy services for medically fragile children and ventilator-dependent patients. Ms. Murchison has provided training and education in compliance for over 13 years, and she is certified in health information technology with a specialization in meaningful use technology implementation.

She is regarded an expert in dealing with payors, relative to maintaining reimbursement for home-bound patients. She has been able to ensure nursing care for home-bound patients when payors attempted to terminate services.

Ms. Murchison has worked with healthcare providers to determine best practices for their unique business. As a consultant, she specializes in finding solutions that are easy to implement and trains all levels of company personnel. She has successfully helped many companies navigate HIPAA compliance and better understand the expectations of the HITECH Act. She serves in several national organizations, and believes it is critical to continue to broaden her knowledge base as she continues to learn and grow in the industry.
