Why Should You Attend:
Numerous industrial and construction accidents involve the unintended release of ENERGY. Many of these accidents are FATAL or at the least cause horrific amputations or crushing type injuries.
The LOTO Standard as invented by OSHA is intended to PREVENT these accidents by using a relatively simple sequential process of assuring a ZERO ENERGY STATE in a machine or process.
This Webinar will discuss the critical steps involved in establishing your LOTO program, describe key roles and responsibilities, talk about hardware and devices used in the LOTO process and cover the most common failures in the LOTO audit and inspection process.
The Webinar will allow questions and provide numerous examples of how to comply with the standard and write a solid LOTO plan. It is far more complex the simply buying and handing out locks and tags.
We will cover this OSHA Zero Energy Assurance Standard / Lock Out Tag Out Procedure from the perspective of the average industrial, commercial or construction business.
