During the past 20+ years, she has presented over 300 educational programs on quality improvement, case management and patient safety improvement topics. Patrice serves on the advisory board for WebM&M, a patient safety web site supported by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and has authored several books on patient safety topics, including Error Reduction in Health Care: A Systems Approach to Improving Patient Safety (Jossey-Bass, 2000) and Partnering with Patients to Reduce Medical Errors (AHA Press, 2004).
