Suzanne M. Richer - President of Customs & Trade Solutions, Inc, an advisory firm for global customs compliance and cargo security programs. Ms. Richer is a licensed Customs Broker with over twenty five years in international supply chain management. She has counseled corporations during their Focused Assessments, conducted C-TPAT security audits and prepared companies to join the program, as well as guiding firms into the Importer Self Assessment program. In 2006, she was recognized by the Journal of Commerce as one of the top 20 Women in Transportation.
Ms. Richer has conducted international trade seminars globally and has spoken before organizations including the ICPA, AAEI, NCBFAA, Footwear Association, CSCMP New York and Paris Roundtables, Mid-West Importers Trade Association and the Federal Maritime Commission. Her articles on international trade topics appear in the Shipping Digest, Supply Chain Management magazine and Logistics Management.
Ms. Richer earned her Master’s degree in Economics from Eastern Michigan University and her Bachelors of Economics from the University of Michigan.
