Why Should You Attend:
As spring 2019 turned to summer, President Trump announced his intention to seek reelection. Possibly the most controversial president since Andrew Jackson, Mr. Trump in 2.5 years has attempted to repeal Obamacare; successfully enacted omnibus tax legislation; nullified numerous Obama executive orders while issuing many of his own; pulled out of NAFTA, the Paris environmental accords, the Iran deal, and the Trans-Pacific Trade Agreement; launched and/or threatened tariff battles with China, Canada and India; and solidified the conservative majority on the Supreme Court. What has been the sum impact of this dizzying array of action for U.S. businesses and the American economy? What can corporate America expect in the final 18 months of his first Administration? What are his chances for re-election? And If he wins again, what can we anticipate in term two?
