Why Should You Attend:
Recent decisions in harassment and discrimination litigation relating to same sex employment issues are changing the landscape of the workplace and it is important for employers and employment law attorneys to stay apprised of these developments.
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act extends protections to employees based on their gender. This includes protection from harassment and discrimination on the basis of stereotypical characterizations of the sexes. More and more cases relating to same sex issues in the workplace are being brought to the courts and thus the law in this area is evolving.
This webinar will offer a broader perspective of the Civil Rights Act that protects employees based on their gender. It will address legal protections based on sexual orientation and highlight developments in same sex harassment litigation among other discussions on the subject.
