This webinar will cover what is considered sexual harassment as well as other types of harassment in the workplace. It will review laws protecting employees from harassment and recourses employees have. It will describe two main kinds of sexual harassment in the workplace and what should be included in an effective ‘No Harassment’ policy.
The course will include instructions on handling complaints, documenting charges and addressing any situation that may be construed as harassment. It will also describe the liability for the company and/or its supervisors and discuss the rights of the employee in an investigation. Examples of situations will be discussed and an analysis of whether they are covered under the law and what defenses might be viable will be detailed.

A complaint that is not resolved can lead to very serious and costly consequences. All levels of management need to be aware of the liabilities involved and follow a policy of zero tolerance to protect both the employee and the company.
