NAFTA provides imports and exporters with a wealth of opportunity to trade freely with our neighboring nations of Canada and Mexico. Benefits of NAFTA include either duty free or reduced duty rates between the 3 nations, making the North American Free Trade area more competitive and less costly. However, the rules of engagement for NAFTA are severely complex. Those companies competing in this area must know and abide by the rules.
